Agger Booking offers the rental of fishing rods.

Agger Tange stretches from Thyborøn Kanal to Agger town, and is a narrow isthmus that divides the Limfjord (Krik Vig) from the North Sea. There are ridges at approximately 400 meter intervals on the entire tang (ridge no. 65-99).

The fishery moves quite a bit during the summer due to "beach feeding" (sand pumping).

On the hips: Be careful of the slippery stones on the hips, Do not go out on the very outer ones, because here it can be extremely slippery in all kinds of weather.

DIRECT FROM THE BEACH

In the summer months, the mackerel sometimes push the herring all the way into the sea stick, where they can gobble up the defenseless herring. If you are lucky enough to come across such a feast, there is simply nothing better than throwing off your shoes and standing at the water's edge with herring around your toes and picking up mackerel. Here from the beach, everyone can join, big or small.

The herring can panic so much that they jump right up on land!

Therefore, keep an eye out for seagull dives and "boiling" spots close to shore before you go out on the hip, and you might turn your back on the best fishing experience of your life!!..

At the Agger itself are the 88-91 hips, which are popular for mackerel fishing in the summer among locals.

Further north from høfde 96 and towards Lyngby there is good fishing from the beach for cod.

THE YELLOW REF

If the weather is good, sea fishing from cutters beckons for "Big game hunting". Especially The Yellow Rev is characterized in angler circles by fish from sizes L to XXL and large catches.

The reef offers many different species of fish: cod, catfish, ling, tench, chubby, plaice, spiny shark and turbot are some of the fish that lure in these waters.

The Yellow Rev is a high plateau on the edge of the Norskedybet. The entire area is approx. 150 km. long and the average width is approx. 20 km.

That part of The Yellow Rev to which the fishing trips go from Thy is approx. 50 km. long. The reef is 2-3 hours sailing from Hanstholm and Vorupør.
